Privacy notice

How Byte Labpoint handles personal data when providing executive employment consultations in Germany.

Effective 15 August 2026.

Controller and contact

Byte Labpoint, Level 7, 21 Jungfernstieg, Hamburg 20354, is the controller for personal data described here. Privacy questions may be sent to info@byte-labpoint.digital.

Data and purposes

We process contact details, enquiry content, appointment information, billing records and documents you deliberately provide. Purposes include answering requests, taking pre-contract steps, delivering an engagement, meeting tax obligations, securing our systems and establishing or defending legal claims. Legal bases may include Article 6(1)(b), (c) and (f) GDPR and consent where specifically requested.

Retention and recipients

Unaccepted enquiries are ordinarily deleted after six months. Engagement and invoice records are retained for applicable German statutory periods; working copies are removed when no longer needed for the engagement or legal claims. Necessary data may be handled by hosting, email, secure-transfer, accounting and professional-adviser providers under appropriate obligations.

International transfers

Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful GDPR transfer mechanism and assess supplementary safeguards where required.

Your rights

Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent prospectively. You may complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority, including the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
