About the practice

Independent judgement for a consequential move

Meet Byte Labpoint, a Hamburg employment consultancy helping senior hires understand executive packages in the German market.

Employment consultant in a Hamburg office

Why the practice exists

Byte Labpoint was established in Hamburg to close a practical gap between recruitment conversations and formal specialist advice. Executives often receive compensation details from several sources: a recruiter summary, an offer letter, a German employment agreement and separate incentive-plan rules. We help the candidate see those papers as one decision.

Who leads the work

The practice is led by Clara Neumann, an executive remuneration adviser with experience supporting German and international leadership appointments. Her work concentrates on package structure, negotiation preparation and the translation of contract mechanics into clear commercial choices. Legal and tax questions are deliberately referred to appropriately qualified advisers.

How we work

We begin with the role, reporting accountability and reason for the move. We then read fixed salary, annual and long-term incentives, benefits, pension, mobility, notice, leave provisions and restrictions in context. Our written briefs separate facts, assumptions, questions and priorities so that a client can speak clearly with an employer.

Confidentiality, measured advice and defined boundaries guide every engagement. We do not encourage a maximal list of demands. A strong review should help preserve trust while making material ambiguities visible.
